Master of Accounting webinar – Foundations of the accounting profession: mental health and wellbeing

Thu 14 October 2021

Online

“Mental and physical health are fundamental to professional and personal achievement. Yet in our profession there continues to be a stigma about mental health. Today it’s critical that leaders speak up to reduce that stigma.”
Lisa Hackard, Partner, Audit, KPMG US

Lisa Hackard is an audit partner based in Colorado and serving as part of KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice. She is the partner in charge of KPMG’s US system of quality control, which provides the foundation for audit and attestation quality, and she is the US representative on a global working group developing methodology and guidance for the implementation of forthcoming quality control standards.

Lisa authored a year-long series of articles on mental health in the accounting profession, serves as a mentor and resource for many and envisions a culture where the importance of mental and physical health are equally prominent and recognised as foundational to professional and personal achievement.
