Camerata Musica is sorry to announce that Igor Levit’s fever, which earlier caused the postponement of his Cambridge concert planned for January, has unfortunately returned, and he has been instructed by his doctors that he should not travel or perform for the immediate future. As a result, he has had to cancel his recital planned for Cambridge on 25 February, and one planned for Frankfurt on 26 February. All Cambridge ticket-holders will be issued with a full refund by the ADC Box Office: no further action is required on their part.

Igor Levit has also sent the following personal message to all ticket-holders and Camerata Musica patrons:

'Due to a sudden infection which has me bed-ridden with a high fever, my doctors have advised me not to fly to the UK to perform tonight‘s concert at Cambridge. I am devastated and more than disappointed having to cancel my recital today - after it had to already be postponed from earlier this month. I am grateful to Camerata Musica’s and their patrons’ understanding and support in this difficult situation and hope to be able to perform in Cambridge in the not too distant future - under luckier stars.
