Centre for Music Performance Launch Festival
Fri 21 October 2022
Multiple venues across Cambridge
Experience a weekend of musical exploration and excellence from Friday 21 October to Sunday 23 October. The Centre for Music Performance Launch Festival is a celebration of music at Cambridge, encompassing over 25 performances and workshops at venues right across the city, including the Museum of Zoology, West Road Concert Hall, the Grand Arcade, college halls, chapels and bars, local live music venues, and even the city's rooftops.
Performers include classical chamber groups, orchestras, choirs, rock bands, the Cambridge University Hip Hop and Chinese Orchestra societies, brass ensembles, jazz groups, and many more.
Participate in free events and workshops, from jamming with Jazz musicians to singing to trying your hand at the traditional music of central Java on the university's Gamelan. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating music at Cambridge.
