Obituary Notice

Professor Roderick Arthur Smith, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., FREng, Honorary and former Official Fellow of Queens’ College, sometime University Lecturer in the Department of Engineering, past President of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, formerly Chief Scientific Advisor to the Department of Transport, died on 26 December 2024, aged 77 years.
