The Grace submitted to the Regent House on 23 October 2024 (Reporter, 6756, 2024–25, p. 80) was approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 1 November 2024.
The Registrary gives notice that, as a result of the ballot held between 22 October and 1 November 2024, Grace 2 of 17 July 20241 was approved:
That the recommendations in paragraph 5 of the Report of the Council, dated 4 June 2024, on the term of office of the Chancellor and the High Steward (Reporter, 6744, 2023–24, p. 634), as amended by the Council’s Notice dated 11 July 2024,2 be approved.
The results of the voting, conducted under the Single Transferable Vote regulations (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 121), are shown below.
Number of valid votes: 1,749 (no invalid votes)
In favour of the Grace (placet) 1,411
Against the Grace (non-placet) 338
