Professor Peter Ware Higgs, CH, (Hon.) Sc.D., FRS, FRSE, (Hon.) FInstP, Professor of Theoretical Physics Emeritus, University of Edinburgh, Copley Medallist and Nobel Laureate, died on 8 April 2024, aged 94 years.
