The Right Honourable Sir John Grant Mckenzie Laws, Honorary Fellow of Robinson College and sometime Goodhart Visiting Professor of Legal Science, formerly Lord Justice of Appeal, died on 5 April 2020, aged 74 years.

The Right Reverend Simon Barrington‑Ward, KCMG, M.A., Honorary Fellow and Honorary Assistant Chaplain and sometime Dean of Chapel and former Chaplain of Magdalene College, Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Ely, sometime Lord Bishop of Coventry, died on 11 April 2020, aged 89 years.

Paul Woudhuysen, M.A., of Emmanuel College, sometime Keeper of Printed Books and Manuscripts at the Fitzwilliam Museum, died on 3 May 2020, aged 84 years.

Peter Anthony Linehan, M.A., Ph.D., FBA, Fellow and sometime Tutor for Graduate Affairs and Dean of St John’s College, Senior Proctor 1976–77, died on 9 July 2020, aged 76 years.

Professor Nicholas Langrishe Alleyne Lash, M.A., Ph.D., D.D., Emeritus Fellow of Clare Hall and former Fellow and Dean of St Edmund’s College, Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity Emeritus, died on 11 July 2020, aged 86 years.
