Congregations, Discussions and University Sermons: Coronavirus (COVID‑19) update

18 March 2020

As part of the management of the coronavirus outbreak, the government is currently advising people to avoid ‘non‑essential’ social contact. As a result, the Vice-Chancellor gives notice that after the very brief ‘Graces and supplicats business only’ Congregations on 21 and 27 March 2020 (see below), Congregations and the Mere’s Commemoration and Ramsden Sermons are postponed, and no Discussions are to take place, until further notice. The Reports included in this issue have therefore not been included on the agenda of the next scheduled Discussion on 28 April 2020. Once the advice indicates that business as usual is resuming, the dates for further Congregations and Sermons will be agreed and a Notice will be published in the Reporter giving at least the usual thirteen days’ notice of the date of the Discussion at which those Reports will be discussed.
