Statutes approved

20 February 2019

The Registrary has received notice from the Clerk of the Privy Council that Her Majesty the Queen, at a Council held on 13 February 2019, was pleased to approve amendments to Statutes C XIII, A X and D II, which were submitted under the Common Seal of the University in accordance with Grace 1 of 14 March 2018 and Grace 4 of 4 July 2018.

The changes to Statute C XIII remove references to Appointments Committees, whilst retaining authority for the University to make provision by Special Ordinance for the method of appointment of University Senior Lecturers, University Lecturers, and Associate Lecturers. The changes to Statutes A X and D II introduce a definition of 'registered student'.
