Annual meetings of the Faculties

Architecture and History of Art

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Architecture and History of Art gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 1.45 p.m. on Tuesday, 14 November 2017, in the Boardroom, Faculty of Architecture and History of Art, 1–5 Scroope Terrace. The main item of business will be the election of two members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2018, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603).

Nominations for election, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, signed by the proposer and seconder, and notice of any other business for the meeting, should be sent in writing to the Secretary of the Faculty Board of Architecture and History of Art, 1–5 Scroope Terrace, to arrive not later than 12 noon on Wednesday, 1 November 2017.

Computer Science and Technology

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Computer Science and Technology gives notice that the Teaching Conference and Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 November 2017, in Lecture Theatre 1 of the William Gates Building, JJ Thomson Avenue. All members of the Faculty are invited to attend.

Divinity

The Annual Meeting of the Faculty of Divinity will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, 16 November 2017, in the Lightfoot Room of the Divinity Building, West Road. The business to be discussed will include the Chair’s report and the election, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603) of two members of the Faculty Board to serve for four calendar years in class (c), from 1 January 2018.

Nominations for the posts in class (c) must be seconded, and the consent of the candidate obtained in advance, and should reach the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Divinity, West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9BS, not later than Friday, 3 November 2017. Notice of any other business to be discussed should reach the Administrative Officer by the same date.

History

The Chair of the Faculty Board of History gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 14 November 2017, in Seminar Room 6 in the Faculty of History. The agenda for the meeting will be circulated to each member of the Faculty. One of the items of business will be the election of two members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2018, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603).

Nominations, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, signed by the proposer and seconder, and notice of any other business, should be sent to the Principal Secretary at the Faculty of History, West Road, not later than 12 noon on Tuesday, 7 November 2017.

Human, Social, and Political Science

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Human, Social, and Political Science gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, 23 November 2017, in the Seminar Room of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, Downing Street. The main business will be the election of two members of the Faculty Board in class (c), in accordance with the Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603).

Nominations, signed by the proposer and seconder, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board (Marie Butcher; email: mab30@cam.ac.uk) not later than 12 noon on Friday, 17 November 2017. Notice of any other business should reach the Secretary by the same date.

Mathematics

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Mathematics gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday 16 November 2017, in Meeting Room 5, Pavilion A of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Business will include the election, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603), of:

two members of the Faculty Board in class (a)(ii) to serve from 1 January 2018 for four years;

two members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve from 1 January 2018 for four years.

Nominations for these elections should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board of Mathematics, Room B1.30, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Road, not later than 12 noon on Wednesday, 8 November.

Nominations should be in writing, should bear the signatures of the proposer and seconder, and should contain a signed statement by the nominee that he/she would consent to serve if elected. Any further items for the agenda should reach the Secretary by the same date.

Modern and Medieval Languages

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, 13 November 2017, in the Runcie Room, Faculty of Divinity. The business to be discussed will include a report by the Chair, and the election, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 603), of one member of the Faculty Board, to serve for four calendar years, in class (c) and from 1 January 2018.

Nominations for these elections should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages (email: ojs25@cam.ac.uk) not later than 12 noon on Tuesday, 7 November 2017.

Nominations should be in writing, should bear the signatures of the proposer and seconder, and should contain a signed statement by the nominee that he or she would consent to serve if elected. Any further items for the agenda should reach the Secretary by the same date.
