The Leslie Stephen Lecture 2016

The Vice-Chancellor reminds members of the University that Professor Ray Monk FRSL, Professor of Philosophy, University of Southampton, will deliver the next Leslie Stephen Lecture in the Senate-House at 5.30 p.m. on Monday, 21 November 2016. Professor Monk will speak on Shaping granite into a rainbow: the task of the intellectual biographer.

This lecture is open to all who are interested and there will be a reception afterwards. Senior members of the University attending should please wear their gowns (black gowns).

Office of Vice-Chancellor: Nomination of candidate

A Grace nominating Professor Stephen John Toope for appointment as the Vice-Chancellor for seven years from 1 October 2017 and an accompanying Notice were published in an extraordinary edition of the Reporter on 26 September 2016 (see Reporter, 6436, 2016–17, p. 12).
