The Society’s G. I. Taylor lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, 8 February 2016, in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Professor Lord Mair CBE, FREng., FRS, will give a lecture entitled Fracking – shale gas extraction and protecting buildings from tunnelling subsidence.
