Cambridge Philosophical Society

The Society’s Honorary Fellows Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 19 November 2014 in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Professor Sir Tony Hoare, FRS, FREng, will give a lecture entitled Could computers understand their own programs?

Friends of Cambridge University Library

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Cambridge University Library will be held on Tuesday, 18 November 2014, at 5 p.m., in the Milstein Seminar Rooms, University Library, West Road, after which Dr Christopher Stokoe will give a talk entitled Cambridge digital library: digital curation of special collections materials.
