The next meeting will be held on Thursday, 15 November 2012 at 8.30 p.m. in the Old Library, Darwin College. Professor John Peter Collett will give a talk entitled On writing university history. Reflections on the recently published nine volume ‘History of the University of Oslo 1811–2011’. Refreshments will be served from 8 p.m.
The Cambridge University Scientific Society aims to promote all branches of science at a level that is stimulating both to those studying science and to those with an arts background. The Society is one of the most active science societies in Cambridge, organizing weekly talks, social events, and away trips.
