Friends of Cambridge University Library

A meeting of the Friends of Cambridge University Library will be held on Wednesday, 29 February 2012, at 5.30 p.m., in the Morison Room, University Library, West Road, at which Dr Julie Brown will give a talk entitled Exploring the music of ‘Epic of Everest’. Society for the History of the University

The next meeting will be held at 8.30 p.m. in the Old Library, Darwin College, on Thursday, 8 March 2012. Dr Alistair Fair will give a talk entitled ‘An ideal campus’: the genesis and design of the Sidgwick Site, 1948-63. Refreshments will be served from 8 p.m.

Philosophical Society

The Society’s Honorary Fellows Lecture will take place at 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 7 March 2012, in the Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Site.
