The Board of Electors to the Beckwith Professorship of Management Studies (in the area of Strategy and International Business) invite applications for this Professorship from persons with an international reputation in Strategy and International Business to take up appointment as soon as possible.

University Lectureship in the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS)

Salary: £36,715–£46,510 a year.

Applications are invited for a University Lectureship in the Department of Politics and International Studies, from 1 October 2011. There is some flexibility in the field of the Lectureship, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates specializing in the politics of China (including foreign policy and political economy). Other areas where the Department is seeking to strengthen its research and teaching include international security and foreign policy, the politics of the United States, and British politics and public policy. University Lectureship in the Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified individual to a University Lectureship from 1 September 2011. The post is advertised without preference as to field. The person appointed will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, conduct and supervise research, and participate in the general work of the Faculty.

Appointments made at University Lecturer level will be permanent, subject to a probationary period of five years. The expectation is that the starting salary for this post will be limited to points 49–51 of the salary range (£36,715–£38,951).

Temporary Lectureship in Early Modern European History, c. 1450–1760 (stipend £36,715)

The Lectureships are available from 1 October 2011. The temporary Lectureship in Early Modern European History is available from 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2013.

University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Statistics (two posts) in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics

Salary: £27,319–£35,646 a year.

Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Statistics, to be held in the Statistical Laboratory. The Fellowships are available for three years, commencing on 1 September 2011. Appointment will be made at an appropriate point on the University’s Postdoctoral Research Associate scale. The successful candidates will have a Ph.D. Degree and have demonstrated a capability to produce world-class research. These Research Fellowships are associated with a major expansion of personnel and activities in core statistical methodology and its applications.
