Graces submitted to the Regent House on 9 February 2005

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 105), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 18 February 2005.

1. That the recommendations in paragraph 3 of the Report of the Council, dated 29 November 2004, on the amendments of the Statutes and Ordinances in relation to the Finance Committee, buildings, and certain offices (Reporter, p. 240), amended as set out in their Notice of 7 February 2005 (p. 438), be approved.

2. That the recommendations in paragraph 17 of the Report of the Council, dated 13 December 2004, on distributions from the Amalgamated Fund (Reporter, p. 282), amended as set out in their Notice of 7 February 2005 (p. 439), be approved.

3. That the recommendations in paragraph 6 of the Report of the General Board, dated 8 December 2004, on the establishment of a Professorship of Family Research (Reporter, p. 359) be approved.

4. That the recommendations in paragraph 8 of the Report of the Council, dated 17 January 2005, on the construction of an Avian Laboratory for the Department of Zoology at Madingley (Reporter, p. 380) be approved.

5. That the recommendations in paragraph 7 of the Report of the General Board, dated 12 January 2005, on the establishment of Readerships in the Faculty of Economics (Reporter, p. 382) be approved.
