The Council have accepted recommendations from the Nominating Committee for the appointment of two members of the Council in class (e) (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113) and are submitting Graces to the Regent House (Graces 1 and 2, p. 171) for the approval of the appointment of Mr Nigel W. Brown and Lord Simon of Highbury, CAI, as members of the Council in that class to serve from 1 January 2005 for four years. The Council propose that, subject to the approval of Grace 1, Mr Brown be designated to chair the Council's Audit Committee.
