The College invites applications from graduates of either sex for a Junior Research Fellowship in the Arts and Humanities, tenable for three years from 1 October 2002. Candidates must not by 1 October 2002 have spent more than seven years in full-time education or research since their first degree. The Fellowship is non-stipendiary and is intended to be held in conjunction with a British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellowship or similar (e.g. ESRC) public funding or equivalent salaried support for independent research, for which candidates should apply separately. A Fellow is entitled to free luncheons and dinners, either accommodation in College (if available) or an allowance in lieu and a study room, and support for research expenses.
