Mr J. F. Kerrigan, M.A., JN, Reader in English Literature in the Faculty of English, elected Professor of English (2000) from 1 October 2001.
Mr D. J. Lomas, M.A., M.B., B.Chir., EM, MRCP, FRCR, University Lecturer in the Department of Radiology, elected Nycomed Amersham Professor of Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging from 1 July 2001.
