Girton College

Girton College is expanding its Development Office, creating two new posts of Alumni Officer and Development Administrator.

ALUMNI OFFICER

An Alumni Officer is required to help implement a new alumni relations strategy. Working within the College's Development Office, the post-holder will be responsible for communicating with and co-ordinating events and activities for Girton's alumni community. Applicants should have excellent IT skills, should be educated to degree level or equivalent, and should be articulate and highly motivated. Experience of working in a professional fundraising office or knowledge of the collegiate system is essential.

The salary offered is between £16,775 and £19,482, depending on age and experience, and is on an academic-related scale. Benefits include College dining rights and a USS pension.

DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR

A Development Administrator is required to give administrative support for fundraising and alumni relations within the Development Office. The Administrator will assist in the day-to-day management of the office and will be responsible for donor stewardship. Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, be articulate, and have some experience of using databases. Knowledge of the collegiate system/fundraising is desirable.

The salary offered is between £14,851 and £18,731, depending on age and experience, and is on an academic-related scale. Other benefits include a USS pension.
