The University intends to appoint a Director of Finance as soon as possible. This is a significant opportunity to join the senior management of a large, internationally recognized university and to contribute to its further development at a time of strategic change in higher education.
The post-holder will play a crucial role in developing the financial services provided by the staff of the Finance Division to support the University's central policy-making bodies. The successful candidate will have proven experience in staff leadership and management in the finance function at a senior level in a large, dynamic, and diverse organization in either the public or the private sector. Creativity and resourcefulness in the management of change are essential, as are a high degree of business acumen, clarity of strategic vision, and an ability to relate sympathetically to the University's academic mission.
