Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. The General Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Mathematics, have appointed Professor T. J. Pedley, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., CAI, to be Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from 1 October 2000 for five years.
