PROFESSOR SIR (JOHN) LESLIE MARTIN, M.A., (Hon.)LL.D., RA, FRIBA, Emeritus Professor of Architecture, Honorary Fellow of Jesus College, died on Friday, 28 July 2000, aged 91 years.
SIR MARCUS LAURENCE ELWIN (MARK) OLIPHANT, K.B.E., A.C., Ph.D., FRS, Fellow and Lecturer in Physics, 1934-37, and Honorary Fellow of St John's College, formerly Governor of South Australia, died on Friday, 14 July 2000, aged 98 years.
ALEXIS PETER VLASTO, M.A., Ph.D., Fellow of Selwyn College, died on Thursday, 20 July 2000, aged 84 years.
