Elections, appointment, and reappointment

The following elections, appointment, and reappointment have been made:

Elections

Professor H. Griffiths, B.Sc., Ph.D., Dundee, Professor of Plant Ecophysiology, University of Newcastle, elected Professor of Plant Ecology from 1 October 2000.

Professor A. Pollard, B.A., Leeds, P.G.C.E., Lancaster, M.Ed., Ph.D., Sheffield, Professor of Education, University of Bristol, elected Professor of Primary Education from 1 October 2000.

Appointment

Administrative Officer

University Offices (General Board Division). Mr M. D. Bridger, B.A., Anglia Polytechnic, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, with duties in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, from 19 June 2000 for three years.

Reappointment

Assistant Director of Research

Land Economy. Mr B. C. Moore, DOW, reappointed from 1 September 2000 to the retiring age.
