The regulations for the Certificate in Education (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 271) have been amended as set out below. The purpose of these amendments is to ensure that candidates have satisfied all national requirements applying to Qualified Teacher Status. The regulations have been amended, with effect from 1 October 2000, as follows:
Regulation 1.
By replacing in proviso (i) the word 'thirty-two' by the word 'twenty-four';
By inserting a new proviso (iii) as follows:
(iii) has satisfied all national requirements applying to Qualified Teacher Status at the time of the award of the Certificate.
