The following election, appointments, and reappointments have been made:

Election

Professor M. L. Jacobus, M.A., D.Phil., Oxford, Professor of English, Cornell University, elected Professor of English (1966, Grace 2 of 1 December 1965) from 1 October 2000.

University Library. Mr C. Staufenbiel appointed from 1 March 2000 for five years.
