Fitzwilliam College and Churchill College

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN MUSIC

Fitzwilliam and Churchill Colleges invite applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Music, from 1 October 2000. The appointment, which is open to men and women, will be for three years, with a normal expectation of renewal for a further two, subject to satisfactory performance of duties. The Colleges are not committed to the scheme of a joint Lectureship beyond five years, but may offer, jointly or singly, the possibility of renewal thereafter, in the light of circumstances. The Colleges follow an equal opportunities policy. They will not restrict consideration to applicants seeking a full-time appointment. Applications for part-time (or job share) appointments will be welcomed.

The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduates for the Cambridge Music Tripos.

The pensionable stipend of a College Lecturer is currently at a point in the range £17,238 to £22,579, depending on age and experience, with additional emoluments for the Directorships of Studies.

Before applying, please obtain the further particulars from the College's website (ttp://www.fitz.cam.ac.uk/vacancies/), or send a self-addressed envelope to the Master's Secretary, Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, CB3 0DG. Applications should be sent to the Master no later than Thursday, 6 April 2000.
