As part of the Bicentenary celebrations of the College, the Maitland Society will hold a special meeting next term at which Professor Alan Macfarlane, FBA, FRHist, will give a lecture, entitled F. W. Maitland and the riddle of the modern world. The lecture will be given at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 2 May, in the Howard Building, Downing College. All are welcome.
