Election, appointments, and reappointments

The following election, appointments, and reappointments have been made:

Election

Professor N. K. H. Slater, whose election to the Professorship of Chemical Engineering (1999) was announced in Reporter, p. 236, will take up his appointment on 1 July 2000.

Appointments

University Lecturers

History. Mr J. C. Muldrew, Ph.D., CLH, M.A., Alberta, appointed from 1 October 2000 for three years.

Law. Ms J. Scott, LL.B., Aberdeen, LL.M., Florence, appointed from 7 April 2000 to the retiring age.

Computer Officer

University Computing Service. Mrs S. C. Rogers appointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 1 January 2000 for five years.

Reappointments

University Lecturer

Social and Political Sciences. Dr H. E. Thompson, CL, reappointed from 1 September 2000 to the retiring age.

Computer Officer

University Offices (Management Information Services Division). Mr D. Reed reappointed Computer Officer, Grade III, from 1 April 2000 for five years.
