The supplementary regulation for the portfolio of tonal compositions in Part IB of the Music Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 342) has been amended, with effect from 1 October 2000, as follows:
By amending the penultimate sentence so as to read:
One composition may be for solo keyboard (including organ) or other polyphonic instrument, but melody instruments may be used only in ensemble.
