Queens' College

COLLEGE MUSICIAN

Queens' College wishes to appoint a College Musician. The role of the College Musician is to improve and develop the range of musical performance within the College, both by working with the student music societies and by means of independent initiatives. The successful applicant will be a good communicator and an inspirational musical personality. It is expected that the College Musician will work in the College for an average of two days a week during term. The College has no preconceptions as to age or musical interests of the person to be appointed. However, it is likely that the College Musician will be a person setting out on a career as a professional musician. The remuneration will be £5,000 a year, plus some other benefits. The appointment is for two years from 1 October 2000.

For further details, contact the President, Queens' College, Cambridge, CB3 9ET (tel. 01223 335556), or consult the College website (http://www.quns.cam.ac.uk/). Letters of application, together with a curriculum vitae and two references, should be sent to the President by 11 March 2000.
