Theological and Religious Studies Tripos, Part II, 2000: Notice

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Divinity, and notwithstanding Regulation 23 for the Theological and Religious Studies Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 386), they have agreed to permit A.I. Frith, of Selwyn College, and D. Sayers, of Corpus Christi College, to offer the following combination of papers and other exercises in Part II of that Tripos in 2000:

Mr Frith: Papers 14, 17, 26, 32, 37, and a dissertation;

Mr Sayers: Papers 14, 26, 27(b), 36(b), 37, and a dissertation.

These two candidates have received incorrect advice about the examination requirements and have been preparing for the combinations of papers shown, although these do not conform to the requirements that a candidate who has not obtained honours in Part I of the Tripos should offer at least one paper from Paper 16, 18, and 19. The General Board have received pleas of incuria from the candidates' Tutors and Directors of Studies.
