REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Engineering Tripos, Part IA

The supplementary regulations for Part IA of the Engineering Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 281) have been amended as follows:

Paper 2. Structures and materials

By amending the detail so as to read:

The paper shall consist mainly of questions on: equilibrium, compatibility and elasticity of structures; buckling phenomena in simple structures; properties and applications of engineering materials; the physical origins of the properties.
