The following appointments and reappointments have been made:

Appointments

Residents

Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Mr E. J. Friend, B.Vet.Med., London, MRCVS, appointed from 18 October 1999 for three years. Mr M. J. Morris, D.V.M., University of the West Indies, MRCVS, appointed from 1 November 1999 for three years.

Senior Assistant Treasurer

University Offices (Finance Division). Mr K. P. Johnson, ACCA, appointed from 8 November 1999 for three years.

Head of Department

Social and Political Sciences. The General Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences, have appointed Professor B. S. Turner to be Head of the Department from 1 October 1999 for two years.

Reappointments

Computer Officer

Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Mr J. S. Peatfield, CAI, reappointed Computer Officer, Grade II, from 1 October 1999 to the retiring age.

Administrative Officer

University Offices (General Board Division). Mrs K. C. Gray reappointed Administrative Officer, Grade II, from 1 September 1999 for five years.
