Dr Abigail Green, JN, will give a short talk on The Zollverein on show: German states at the World Fairs, 1851-62, and Mr Max Jones, PET, will give a short talk on 'Our king upon his knees': the public commemoration of Captain Scott's last Antarctic expedition, at a meeting of the Society, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 19 October, in Sidgwick Hall, Newnham College. Prospective members are welcome, and drinks will be served after the meeting.
