Appointments, reappointments, and reassignment

The following appointments, reappointments, and reassignment have been made:

Appointments

Head of Department

Geography. The General Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Earth Sciences and Geography, have appointed Professor A. D. Cliff, CHR, Head of the Department from 1 October 1999 for five years.

Assistant Registrary

University Offices (General Board). Miss L. Woollard, B.Sc., Wales, appointed from 1 July 1999 for three years.

Reappointments

University Lecturer

Chemistry. Dr P. M. W. Gill, PEM, reappointed from 1 July 1999 to the retiring age.

Computer Officer

Chemistry. Mr C. R. Chalk reappointed from 1 January 2000 to the retiring age.

Reassignment

University Lecturer

Surgery. Dr T. A. Carpenter, T, reassigned from the Faculty of Clinical Medicine to the Department of Surgery.
