FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ECONOMICS

(Re-advertisement)

Fitzwilliam College invites applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Economics, specializing in micro-economics, from 1 October 1999. The appointment, which is open to men and women, will be for a period of three years with the possibility of reappointment for two years. Further periods of reappointment may be possible, but will depend on the College's continued need for the post as well as on the individual's performance in it. The person appointed would also hold the Directorship of Studies in Economics at Fitzwilliam College. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduates for the Cambridge Economics Tripos.

The College follows an equal opportunities policy. It will not restrict its consideration to applicants seeking a full-time appointment. Applications for part-time (or job share) appointments will be welcomed.

The pensionable stipend of a College Lecturer will be at a point in the range £16,655 to £21,815 depending on age and experience, with an additional emolument for the Directorship of Studies.

Before applying, please send a self-addressed envelope to the Master's Secretary, Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, CB3 0DG, for further particulars. Applications should be sent to the Master no later than Monday, 28 June 1999.
