The following election and appointment have been made:
Mr R. C. Glen, B.Sc., Paisley, Ph.D., Stirling, Vice-President, Discovery Research, Tripos Inc., St Louis, USA, elected Unilever Professor of Molecular Sciences Informatics from a date to be determined.
University Offices (General Board). Mr A. Kirby, M.A., appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, with special duties initially in the Department of Pathology, from 1 December 1998 to the retiring age.
