MERCK SHARP AND DOHME STUDENTSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS IN NEUROSCIENCE AND RELATED CHEMISTRY

The managers of the Merck Sharp and Dohme Educational Sponsorship Programme invite applications for a number of awards in the area of neuroscience and related chemistry, tenable from 1 October 1999 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applicants will be required to undertake original research into any problem which may have a bearing on neuroscience and related chemistry. Recipients of the award will be designated as either 'MSD Students' or 'MSD Fellows'. In addition an amount of consumables funding is provided for both Studentships and Fellowships.

Stipends for Fellowships are in the range £15,735 to £23,651 a year. (Stipend is age related, at age twenty-eight it is £18,275).
