The Faculty Board of Biology give notice that the form of the examination for the two Special Subjects Mechanisms of Disease A and B, to be held for the first time in 1999, will be as follows:
In each subject the examination will consist of two papers, each of three hours' duration.
Paper 1 will be divided into two sections, each containing four questions. Candidates will be required to answer four questions, two from each section. All questions will carry equal marks.
Paper 2 will contain six questions, of which candidates will be required to answer two. All questions will carry equal marks.
Candidates offering a dissertation on Mechanisms of Disease A or B will be required to submit two copies of the dissertation to the Secretary of the Faculty Board not later than 4 p.m. on 26 April 1999.
