Fitzwilliam College

Professor Brian F. G. Johnson, FRS, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry (1970), Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, has been elected Master of the College to take office from 1 October 1999 on the retirement of Professor Cuthbert.

CHAPLAIN

Fitzwilliam College and Wesley House, a Methodist foundation, are looking for a Chaplain for a period of three years from 1 September 1999. The maximum tenure of the Chaplaincy is six years. This full-time appointment is open to an ordained minister of any church which is a full member of the World Council of Churches. The principal duties of the Chaplain are the conduct of services in Fitzwilliam College Chapel and the pastoral care of members of the College (which admits men and women), and to function in pastoral and teaching capacities within Wesley House, and also within the Cambridge Theological Federation of which Wesley House is a member.
