The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a benefaction of about £19,000, which has been contributed by friends and colleagues of the late Thomas ap Rees, Fellow of Gonville and Caius College and Professor of Botany, to establish a fund in his memory.
The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 2, p. 137) for the approval of regulations to govern this benefaction.
