Pembroke College

RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS

The College intends to award up to three fully supported Research Studentships, in any subject, to candidates who intend to register for the Ph.D. degree at the University of Cambridge. Preference will be given to those nominating Pembroke as their College of first preference in CIGAS Form A, and recipients will be required to be members of the College.

BOC STUDENTSHIPS IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Through the generosity of the BOC Group, the College is able for the first time to offer two fully-funded Studentships for students intending to register for a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, one for candidates from the People's Republic of China and one for candidates from Southern Africa, including Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. The value of these awards is the same as that of the Research Studentship above. The successful candidate must possess at least a first class honours degree from a recognised university: experience, or completion, of work at M.Sc. level, or the equivalent, may be an advantage.

In addition to the above Studentships the College offers Graduate Bursaries of variable amounts to help support students registered for a higher degree at Pembroke.

Further particulars of Studentships and Bursaries may be obtained by writing to the Tutor for Graduate Admissions at Pembroke College, Cambridge, CB2 1RF.
