The Executive Director gives notice that the following courses will be held at the Language Centre in Downing Place during the Long Vacation term:
The Cambridge University Language Programme (CULP) 'compressed format' courses will be offered in Basic French, Italian, and Spanish, and Intermediate French and Spanish. The format of the courses will consist of two contact hours daily (Monday to Friday), plus multimedia online support delivered over the University intranet, commencing on 14 June for three weeks. Fees for the course are £35 (students) and £125 (postdoctoral and staff applicants).
The A. J. Pressland Fund course in Basic Chinese for Scientists and Others will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., commencing on 14 June for three weeks. Priority will be given to students from the Schools of Physical and Biological Sciences and Technology. The course is free to members of the University.
