Preachers before the University, 2004-05: Notice

The following persons have been appointed in the manner prescribed by Ordinance to preach before the University during the academical year 2004-05.

Michaelmas Term 2004

24 October The Revd Myra Blyth, Deputy General Secretary of the Baptist Union.
7 November Professor Graham Stanton, The Lady Margaret's Professor of Divinity, Fellow of Fitzwilliam College (The Lady Margaret's Preacher, Commemoration of Benefactors, Scarlet Day).

Lent Term 2005

6 February Professor Averil Cameron, Warden of Keble College, Professor of Late Antique and Byzantine History in the University of Oxford.
6 March The Revd Brian Hebblethwaite, Fellow of Queens' College (Hulsean Sermon).

Easter Term 2005

1 May Professor Nicholas Boyle, Professor of German Literary and Intellectual History, and Fellow of Magdalene College.
15 May To be announced. (Ramsden Sermon, Pentecost, Scarlet Day.)

University Sermons are delivered in Great St Mary's Church at 11.15 a.m. on the Sundays stated. The Congregation are invited for refreshments with the Preacher at Michaelhouse after each Sermon.
