A concert will take place on Friday, 28 November, at 8 p.m. in the West Road Concert Hall. The programme is as follows:
Sibelius: Symphony no. 3; The Swan of Tuonela
Strauss: Horn concerto No. 2 (Horn: Edward Corn)
Wagner: Prelude to 'Parsifal'
Conductors: Robin Ticciati and Geoffrey Paterson.
A pre-concert talk will take place at 7 p.m., entitled Sibelius: in his Scandinavian context. Tickets are priced £10, £6 (concessions), £4 (students), from the Cambridge Arts Theatre (tel. 01223 503333).
