Professorship of Slavonic Studies: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Slavonic Studies invite applications for this Professorship which will become vacant on 1 October 2004 on the retirement of Professor A. G. Cross. It is hoped that the successful candidate will take up appointment on 1 October 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University. Further information may be obtained from the Academic Secretary, University Offices, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TT (e-mail ibise@admin.cam.ac.uk), to whom a letter of application, marked 'Confidential', including details of current and future research plans, a curriculum vitae, and a publications list should be sent, together with the names of two referees, so as to reach him no later than 12 December 2003.
