Centre for Public Law: Conference

The Centre for Public Law is pleased to announce a one-day conference, entitled Judicial reform: function, appointment, and structure, to contribute to the Department for Constitutional Affairs' consultation process on the Government's recent proposals to abolish the judicial function of the House of Lords and to establish a new Supreme Court; to reform the system by which judges are appointed; and to abolish the office of Lord Chancellor.

The Conference will take place on Saturday, 4 October, in the Faculty of Law. The fee is £30 (students £15) including lunch and other refreshments.
