Modern Greek for Beginners: Notice

The Head of the Modern Greek section at the Department of Other Languages is pleased to announce that Dr Dimitris Karadimas will teach a Modern Greek language course for beginners.

This Slow Course consists of one hour per week of grammar and one hour conversation. It aims to provide a basic knowledge of spoken and written Greek for travel or research purposes.

The first class will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 15 October 2003, in Room B2, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Sidgwick Avenue. There will be one hour per week Grammar and one hour per week Conversation. Conversation classes will probably take place on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. The course is open to all members of the University interested in learning Modern Greek. Advance registration is not required for this course, but you are advised to provide your e-mail address to the Departmental Secretary, Mrs Ravit Capauner (e-mail rc264@cam.ac.uk), so as to be kept informed of any changes.
